Ed has long been a creative force in communications, earning distinction as a dynamic and charismatic media trainer, public speaker, mentor, team leader, writer and strategic thinker.
Early in his career, he held senior editorial positions with The New York Times News Service, Reuters News Agency, Radio Denmark and The Toronto Star and contributed to Newsweek, The New York Times, The (London) Sunday Times, The Financial Times of London and many other leading newspapers and magazines.
After leaving journalism, Ed served as a public affairs executive for Falconbridge Limited, Kidd Creek Mines Limited and The Canadian Manufacturers Association and subsequently founded Ed Shiller Communications, Yorkland Publishing and Shiller Media.
He is the author of In the Spotlight: The Essential Guide to Giving Great Media Interviews and The Canadian Guide to Managing the Media and has mentored many rising stars though his role as trainer, workshop leader and teacher (at Seneca College and the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies).
Rosemary brings to Shiller Media a wealth of experience in journalism, corporate communications and project management. She is an inveterate researcher, problem solver and creative thinker with an uncanny abilitity to uncover hidden factual gems, spot logical inconsistences and weed through masses of trivia to discover essential truths. In addition to her current position with Shiller Media, Rosemary serves as Editorial Director at Yorkland Publishing.
